Permitted Use
You may use MetaFetch to extract public metadata for legitimate applications:
- Link previews in apps, CMS, chatbots, and social tools
- SEO auditing of your own or client websites with permission
- Enriching bookmarks and content management workflows
Prohibited Use
The following uses are strictly prohibited:
- Scanning private networks, localhost, or internal IP ranges
- Mass scraping to resell raw data without added value
- Circumventing rate limits or quotas
- Extracting data to facilitate spam, phishing, or illegal activity
- Denial-of-service attacks against our infrastructure or target websites
Enforcement
Violations may result in immediate suspension without refund. We may report illegal activity to authorities.
