Service Description
MetaFetch provides a REST API for extracting Open Graph metadata from public URLs. Service availability, quotas, and pricing are described on our pricing page.
Accounts and API Keys
You must provide a valid email to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential.
Do not share API keys publicly. Rotate keys immediately if compromised via the dashboard.
Quotas and Fair Use
Each plan includes a monthly request quota. Exceeding your quota returns HTTP 429 until the next billing period or upgrade.
We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that abuse the service (see Acceptable Use Policy).
Intellectual Property
MetaFetch retains all rights to the service, website, and documentation. You retain rights to your application code.
Extracted metadata belongs to the respective website owners; you must comply with their terms of use.
Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee 100% uptime or accuracy of extracted metadata.
Our liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months preceding a claim. We are not liable for indirect damages.
Termination
You may cancel anytime via the Stripe Customer Portal. We may suspend accounts violating these terms with notice when possible.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by French law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of French courts.
